Ashkan is the founder of Persintravel. Although travelling trough Iran and showing his country to foreigners is very satisfying, his passion lies with architecture. He is a graduate architect at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Ashkan is born in Iran and did primary school in Teheran. When he was 11 years old, he came to Netherlands together with his family where he is further raised in the city of Utrecht. Now he is a graduated architect from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Ashkan knows both Persian and Western culture and speaks Dutch, English and Farsi. Since 2014 Ashkan has experience with organising trips in Iran, as well individual trips as group grips. He has broad knowledge of the sights you will visit during the trip. Marjolein Inspired by reading books about Iran by Persian-Dutch writer Kader Abdolah and by pictures from Iranian friends, Marjolein got interested in this country. In 2016 she travelled through Iran and fell in love with its beautiful mosques, hospitable people, the delicious food and the breathtaking nature. The city of "love, roses and nightingales" this is Shiraz, the Iranian home of the 29 years old Niloofar. Niloofar herself is just as open and hospitable as her hometown. At the same time, her career path did not look very touristy: she has lived in Germany-Düsseldorf for 3 years where she studied the German language. After that she returned to Iran, where she studied architecture. She is also educated to be a tour guide which she is now already for a long time. She is very interested in languages, other cultures and in discovering them with other people. read more read less

Mehregan is a visual artist based in Tehran, interested in history and philosphy. She is born in 1990 in tehran, after completing a bachelor a degree in Architecture from Tabriz Art University. She went to Los Angeles to pursue a BFA in Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She currently makes video arts and short films, dealing with the convergence of poetics, language, and landscape.
